Mash Tators

Time: 45min

Ingredients:

  • 8 Russet and/or Yukon potatoes

  • 1/2 cup milk*

  • 1/2 cup butter*

  • Sour Cream

  • Salt/Pepper to taste

Step 2: Potato dice!

Cut potatoes into chunks (around 1 or 2inch thick sides). Place in large pot of warm water, set to high, boil until easily mashed by fork.

Makes: 10 cups

Step 3: Drain, Mix and Serve!

Carefully drain potatoes and place tators back in pot. Mash the tators mostly, leaving some lumps for texture. Slowly add each of butter and milk until desired texture reached (add too much and will be too thin/soupy). Add salt/pepper to taste. Serve!

Pairs with: dinner!

Peel about 2/3rds of the potatoes, leaving skin on last 1/3 for added texture/taste.
