Mash Tators
Fluffy clouds in a pot
Time: 45min
Ingredients:
3lb bag Red Skin, Yukon or Russet Potatoes (about 10-12+ tators)
1/2 cup milk*
1 cup butter*
dab of Sour Cream
Salt/Pepper to taste
Step 2: Potato dice!
Cut potatoes into chunks (around 1 or 2inch thick cubes). Place in large pot of warm water, set to high, boil until easily mashed by fork.
Makes: 10 cups
Step 3: Drain, Mix and Serve!
Carefully drain potatoes and place tators back in pot. Mash the tators mostly, leaving some lumps for texture. Slowly add each of butter and milk until desired texture reached (add too much and will be too thin/soupy). Add salt/pepper to taste. Serve!
Pairs with: Pork Chops
Step 1: Partial Peel
Peel 1/2 to 2/3rds of the potatoes, leaving skin on the rest for added texture/taste (optional).
*Add milk/butter a little at a time so as to not go too far and have soupy texture. It's a little different amount each time.
