Pork Chops
Juicy Pork Chops
Time: 35min
Makes: 4 Pork Chops
Ingredients:
4 Pork Chops
1 bag Cheeze-It 'Snap'd (7.5oz)
2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
1/2 tsp Thyme
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
Note:
Cook time will vary based on time and heat of frying pan and thickness of pork chops.
Tip: Salt level will depend highly on broth used.
Step2: Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 400deg F. Place foil on a baking tray. Place wire rack on top of this tray (wire rack optional - but helps any oils to drip off).
Step4: Bake
Place the seared pork chops on the wire rack on baking tray (careful - the rack may slide) or just on foil lined baking tray if not using rack. Bake for 15-20+min, or until Pork is cooked (About 175deg F internally). Time will vary based on time/heat in frying pan earlier and thickness of Pork Chops.

Step3: Quick Sear
Heat a pan with 1 to 2 TBSN of Olive Oil (or other) on Medium-Hi heat. Place the pork chops in the batter, lightly press, flip and lightly press again. The batter should stick to the pork chops. Place in the pan, reduce heat to medium (the cold meat will lower temp of oil is why start higher at first). Cook for just 3 to 4min, flip and cook another 3 to 4min other side. The Pork Chops will NOT be cooked yet - This is just to sear them to help hold juices in later while baking.
Step1: Prepare the Batter
Mix 2/3'rds of the 7.5oz size bag of Cheeze-It Snap'd (Not Cheese-It's!!) and all seasonings. The Snap'd needs to be closer to powder or very small bits to stick / coat properly. A food processor works best for this. (You won't use the other 1/3 of Cheeze-It Snap'd).
