Air Fryer Fried Chicken
You'd be surprised...
Time: 30min initial batch, 18m each additional batch
Makes: However much chicken used!
Ingredients:
1 pack of chicken breast (at or cut to 1 to 1.5" thick)
Dash of Salt & Pepper
Flour to toss / coat
Garlic Powder
2 Eggs, beaten
Panko Italian bread crumbs
Parm. cheese (soft & thin)
Italian Seasoning
Cooking Spray (Pam, etc.)
Tip: If making more than one batch, clean out crumbs between batches to ensure burnt pieces don't taint food.
Step2: Coat Chicken
Make sure chicken breast are no thicker (tall) than 1 to 1.5" (for even cooking at these cook times and allows for fully cooked chicken without burning the crust). Sprinkle each side with Salt & Pepper. Then toss in mixture of flour with a little garlic powder mixed in to lightly coat. Next move them to beaten eggs to carefully coat. Next, have a mixture of Panko bread crumbs, Parm. cheese, and Italian Seasoning to coat all sides of the egg covered chicken evenly.

Step3: Ready - Set
Spray the now Panko coated chicken, both sides, *generously* with cooking spray (seriously, be generous). Place in the preheated Air Fryer for 7m30sec. Then flip (two forks may work well here), cook for another 8m. Check chicken temp with food thermometer for safety and let rest on a plate for 2min (don't let rest inside air fryer as will continue to cook and could burn coating!). Then serve while hot!
Step1: Preheat
Set Air Fryer to 380deg F.
Pairs With: Fresh Veggies!
